Jewels
I've watched this little lady grow and it's always a pleasure to snap a few pics of her being fabulous & adorable!! We met up for a little baseball game & it turned into a mini portrait session with Jewels...an ode to freckles!! :)

The Big #4
You only turn four once..and you better have fun when you do it. We had a blast this afternoon, bounce houses cupcakes & slides. Not many 4 year old sit still long enough to have their picture taken, so sometimes you have to sneak a few while their not looking. No doubt this birthday boy had a great time!! At a gravedigger party everything is spooky even the photos.
Can't wait until next year

Studio Portraits
One my favorite ladies came by the studio to have some publicity photos done. She is the editor for a miami music publication and she's admittedly in the scene. I think we captured the sass!!

Intensity Dancer's
These ladies put on an amazing show!! The Gusman Theatre was filled to the rafters with adoring family & friends. I overheard some say "It was the most exciting thing they had ever seen". It was a great time for me as well because I've spent weeks with the dancers, memorizing routines & choreography in order to capture those split second shots. All their hard work paid off, it was an exciting day filled with smiles and success. To all the teachers and performers at Intensity Dancer's Studio, Thank you!!

JuneBug
"JuneBug" is getting alot of attention & votes for the next issue of JPG Magazine. This little girl quickly became one of my favorite little models.
She's got sass and a personality like none other. I think that shines through in this photo.

Kaitlyn's Beach Portraits
This little lady was a charmer. She took to the lens like a pro. We played on the beach & she loved it.

Lush
A trip to buy some koi fish turns out to be more about the luscious lilies & lotus sprinkled all over the farm. The rain couldn't stop me from exploring the fields to find these gorgeous flowers.

Outloud and Real
I had the unique opportunity to shoot behind the scenes, during the filming of a documentary Vacant Alleyways. Leah Pritchett approached me about shooting some promotional photos of her for the film & I think she rocked it. She is young, edgy and knows what she wants.

Telling a Story
To often with digital photography, I think the mindset is shoot shoot shoot and we'll find a gem in the editing suite. The magic happens on location, in the moment when the story is being told. A crooked smile, a glimmer in the eye, a roll on the floor roar; these things cannot be recreated in that moment ever again.
When photographing your special moments, remember to look for the simple things. They tell a much more interesting story.

Double the Fun
These 2 are great! So much energy and personality. I was so happy when their daddy contacted me to snap some shots. We had a ball at their home & at the park. Harry & June love to eat grass and play with the same toy! Twins are challenging, but I think we really pulled it off. We had lots of fun and got some great photographs to share with the family. We were able to share their photographs with family all over the country with a personalized album online. Can't wait for the next visit, we have a few more sessions to go.

Lucky for the girls at Intensity Dancers' Studio, I have a soft spot in my heart for all young girls forced to pose in silly costumes and tight hair buns. I have been afforded an opportunity to photograph Intensity Dancers' Studio 5-Star competition performance. It will take place at Gusman Theater of the Performing Arts on June 23, 2007.
Pre-order packages will be available on my website.

Punk Love
Support the cause! My good friend Charlie @ Doink designed this book and it rocks!
It's a great piece of history & delightful photography. I had a wonderful opportunity to meet Susie Horgan & all her friends, and hear her tell the stories behind all these great photographs. I realized that very night, Feb. 14, 2007 it's about heart! All the fancy gadgets and tricks do not make up for heart, passion & dedication to a thing you love. It don't mean a thing, if it ain't got heart!

JPY Family Portraits
These kids are a bundle of energy. We had a full day of beach fun. Hats off to the moms, who really let these kiddies enjoy the moment. It made for some really energetic photographs. We created a 24x36 custom photo collage for their grandparents & it turned out amazing.
